... i wanted to buy incense sticks associated with elements (Air, Water, Fire & Earth), and it was hard to find something at reasonable price.

So i've digged in the internet and tried asking in witchcraft's chat that i am in, asked for association between herbs and elements.

Witchcraft-related Incense (Sticks & Cones), that I have so far.

So far, i have (sticks):
- Protection (about 5 packs),
- Wizard's Spell (about 1 pack, for general purpose magick - like a white candle,
    also for metamagick - divination, transforming, redirecting, countering spells etc),
- Witch's Curse (about 4 packs, for attacking),
- Fairy Mist (about 2 packs ... mist obscures perceptions).
    Can hide about anything - hiding spellcasting, hiding people, hiding auras, hiding bank balance, etc,
- Fairy Dreams (about 1 pack - fulfilling wishes in dreams).
    Reality can be perceived as our shared dream too,
    ... but what about perceiving Reality after Enlightenment?,
- Opium (about 1 pack - in my case it's offering to Allah for when we need to deal with Muslims).
    Are religions opium for masses?
- Ivory Lace (4 sticks left - element of air, consciousness, understanding, memory or communication).
- Dark Fairy (about 1 pack - attracts attention of unseelie fey).
    She's beautiful, cold, seductive, wise, has power and can cast spells.
    She's a spirit or godess that witches, wise women follow,
- Dragon's Blood (about 1 pack - awakens inner dragon in someone, conjures ancient wisdom).
    While mentally, magically and physically powerful and wise, is greedy and easy to anger,
- Dragon's Fire (about 1 pack - invokes greed, fear, awe, fascination and/or anger to someone).
    Can also be used to attack with lethal fire.
- Vampire's Kiss (about 2 packs - drains from someone something).
    for example: lifeforce, power, feelings, wealth, memories, perceptions, etc.

- Honeysuckle (about 2 packs - Element of Earth).

- Vampire's Blood (1 pack - awakens inner vampire in someone).
    While mentally and physically powerful, easily succumbs to desires, lusts and anger,
- Amber (about 3 packs, made by Stamford - for Wisdom and Truth-Seeking, for Rites of Love and Desire too).
    (en: 'amber' is pl: 'bursztyn').
    Stamford is located in London, thus focus on Western Spirituality and Witchcraft.
- Stress Relief (about 5 packs),
- White Sage ( pl: 'Biała Szałwia', 3 packs ) - for cleansing energies,
    (for example, it can cleanse TAROT decks of cards, or for purifying apartment/temple space), element of Air,
- Prosperity (about 3 packs) - for resources.


My incense cones:
- White Sage ( pl: 'Biała Szałwia', about 1 pack of 10 cones, and 2 packs of 15 cones) - for cleansing energies,
    (for example, it can cleanse TAROT decks of cards, or for purifying apartment/temple space), element of Air,
- Stress Relief (about 3 packs of 15 cones),
- Wizard's Spell (3 packs of 12 cones each), for general purpose magick - like a white candle,
    also for metamagick - divination, transforming, redirecting, countering spells etc,
- Witch's Curse (3 packs of 12 cones each), for attacking,
- Fairy Mist (3 packs of 12 cones each) ... mist obscures perceptions.


When one should use cones instead of sticks?

I don't know, but I am investigating the Correspondences between Cone Incense and the Wiccan Rite called: 'Cone of Power',


While i strongly disadvise killing (terrible karma, terrible destiny), there's powerful lethal spell when one combines witch's curse, dragon's blood and dragon's fire together. Makes someone's blood burn within his/her body. Three sticks numerologically mean power too. Name of this spell is: 'Curse of the Dragon Blood'.


Other useful combination is using together Fairy Mist, Protection and Witch's Curse. Hit and run suprise attacks from the cover of the Mist, then retreat to the safety in Mist. Useful for fighting, sort of magickal 'guerilla warfare'. Three sticks numerologically mean power too.


High Magick is mostly spiritual growth, Low Magick - witchcraft included - is more practical, from protection to love, to wealth and to other tricks.

High Magick can defeat Low Magick, but at what cost?

Low Magick is more practical, more cost efficient.

Incense & TAROT in use.

... i have many types of incense sticks, not only witchcraft-related.

Buddhism-related i have:
- Chenrezig Incense (chenrezig is bodhisattva or buddha of compassion),
- Kalachakra Incense (kalachakra is wheel of time),
- Satya Karma Incense (i think that this incense potentially improves one's karma, by opening to friendships with Indian people - mostly buddhists, but also hinduists).

Today ordered also:
- Green Tara Incense (for calmness and general well-being),
- Mahakala Incense (for protection. mahakala is the protector of buddha's lessons in karma kagyu buddhism school and lineage. every living being is a lesson as well),
- Jambala Incense (for wealth - both inner and external wealth, for spending money wisely as well).


Today i've burned Satya Karma Incese stick, made mind contact with people from India, and talked (in mind) with one buddhist girl from India. We'll try to be friends. We agreed to call her Makalu, as is mountain in Himalayas named.

She wanted me to burn compassion incense stick and draw a card from Mage: the Ascension TAROT.

... i did as she wanted.

Compassion incense was burnt with intent for compassion within our mandalas (word mandala means powerfield) - with special emphasis for Indian Buddhism and Indian Hinduism mandalas.

... i read in a book 'Being Useful' with long review with Lama Ole Nydahl, that a being can be surrounded by powerfield. i understand it (not sure if i'm not wrong) that compassion within madalas is compassion within sanghas (buddhist communities) and/or other spiritual groups.

... is powerfield a form of energies generated by spiritual groups?


TAROT card drawn was: '2 of wands', with meaning of Union, Rulership, Power, etc.

... it seems we'll work together with her to unify sanghas and use power of our groups to fight against worst common foes.

... is it Nihilist groups?

TAROT - More than Fortunetelling.

When someone asks how he or she should start learning Magick, i say - buy a TAROT deck of cards.

TAROT is mostly known for it's fortunetelling uses, but i think it's far more.


Each card is a Symbol, different TAROT decks have different images and meanings. Magicians use symbols in their Spellwork.


There are also Ritual Tools of TAROT:
- Athamé,
- Chalice,
- Pentacle,
- Wand.

These are useful in Spellwork & Rites.


Also, i am noticing similarities between TAROT and Jung's Psychology.

Important ideas in Jungian Psychology are Archetypes - i've read that TAROT is not so much Occult as Archetypal. Archetypes worked far in past, before TAROT decks were created.


What exactly are Jungian Archetypes?

Learning Magick's Basics - Magick, Teamwork & Telepathy.

... i've heard (or read, i don't remember exactly) that Magick has to be performed precisely & correctly, for errors have terrible consequences.

... how to start then?

Every beginner makes mistakes and errors, after all.


Answer is Teamwork.

It will be convenient tool for offerings - for celebrating Wicca/Witchcraft holidays, for Sabats & Esbats.

Idea is (borrowed from Buddhism) to offer Lights, Drinks, Food & Scent (incense and/or essential oils).

Does God roll the Dice?

About.

... i think i've read that Random is Holy.

... i think that includes Random Shrines in some of computer games. For example: Diablo series, ADOM, probably many other games as well.


In a polish language, word 'los' means: Random, Destiny, Fate.

... i believe that Destiny & Fate are forms of Strong Karma.

Rolling dice is a form of generating pseudorandom numbers.

In a polish language, rolling dice is translated as 'losowanie', 'rzut kośćmi'.


Skillful Means.

Since dice are related with Randomness, Karma and all forms of Fate and Destiny, dice can be used as a symbol for changing someone's Strong Karma, someone's Destiny, someone's Fate - in any/all form(s) of these.

Don't get me wrong - changing Fate is not easy, requires Wisdom, Power and Effort. Skillful means as dice or other forms of random thing generation can make whole ordeal a lot easier and quicker.

Changing Destiny is somewhat easier than changing Fate, changing Karma is either easy or difficult - depending on how strong said Karma is.

... i think that changing someone's Fate should be done in small steps, to not anger Gods and believers.

... i think that - when changing someone's Fate - one should first destabilize Karma/Destiny/Fate/related then make a small change.

How to do this?

One can make a wish, pray or cast, and do other mental/spiritual practices, perhaps rolling dice in process as well.


Other Forms.

Not only dice can generate pseudorandom things.

TAROT Cards & Computer Programs can also be used to generate pseudorandom things, not neccessarily only numbers.

Same with flipping coins or drawing straws, these can be pseudorandom as well.

Probably many other forms as well.


Creative uses of Cards.

One can also use cards to generate a pseudorandom number, for example numbers from 1 to 6 or 1 to 10. Just use Ace and cards numbered 2 to 6 or 2 to 10, all of the same color. Other forms of generating random results are also possible with cards - either 'standard' playing cards or TAROT Cards.


Random and Pseudorandom.

Computers generate pseudorandom numbers, but if coded correctly it's almost impossible to guess results.

One can learn how to roll dice, and i think it's possible to learn how to guess or learn how to choose cards to be drawn.

So these are pseudorandom as well.

When a human rolls the dice, is it God who actually 'rolls', only using human's hands?

Mysticism, Freedom, Karma, Destiny & Fate.

What is Mysticism?

It's listening to one's inner voice, and following it as one's morality dictates.

One can say that it's 'Way of the Doll' that dances as the Spiritual Authority(-ies) pull the strings.

Spiritual Practices can lead one to become a Mystic.


What is Freedom?

... i think it's the ability to choose one's Goal(s) and Way that leads there, accepting all of strings attached, even painful ones ... including limitations, hindrances and other things - good & bad - associated with the Way.


Karma, Destiny & Fate.

Karma is the Law of Cause & Effect. There's belief that certain practices can transform karma, that there's the Way to Freedom.

Destiny / pl: Przeznaczenie / is - or i think so at least - the strong Karma that dictates how one is (re)born, where one's lives are directed. By changing Karma one can challenge the destiny. It's possible but quite difficult to challenge the Destiny. One can also make karma stronger, harder to change by seeding the seeds of Destiny to protect the progress from changing direction in this and future lives.

Fate / pl: Fatum / is - or so i think at least - stronger form of Destiny. It's extremely difficult to challenge one's Fate. Fate can be used - and is used - in practices to protect one from detracting from one's Way, in this and future lives.

I think i read somewhere - in wise book(s) - that once a Buddhist reaches certain stage of development
/ thinking: Mahamudra /, the Buddhist Way for him or her becomes his/her Karma and Fate at the same time.

Introduction.

Finally got some candle stands, arranged things on my magickal altar.

Tools Used:

- Candles & Incense alight,
- TAROT Cards & TAROT Tools there,
- Reminder about Kybalion on a piece of paper,
- Scarf around Chalice for warmth,
- Matchsticks for setting candles & incense alight,
- Magick-related Art as well.

Colours of Candles is:
- Black,
- Violet,
- Silver.

Meanings of Colours:
/ Different sources, different groups have different meanings for the same colours /

Colours of Incense:
- Black, colour of Protection.


Purpose:

This rite is meant to affect me & my friends, to build Power, Beauty, Protection & Skillful Means (convenient magickal tools) for when we need it.

... well, it is.
... it can be even more expensive - but i am a fan of simplicity, using only simple magickal tools.
