Is Magick expensive?

... it can be even more expensive - but i am a fan of simplicity, using only simple magickal tools.

Why Lilith?

My friend Nerialka introduced me to Inkubus Sukkubus' a song: Heart of Lilith.

i think this Lilith's incarnation will be a Witch Queen, Siren & a Vampire - in a way at least.


Yes, i did invoke Lilith, but what are consequences?

i think it has great & terrible consequences at the same time.

i think she will play with terrorism at youth, then grow wiser and turn against them, later.

i think many women around me will feel this power, Lilith's Qualities will awaken in them. including in a Buddhist woman i Love.

i don't mind, as this increases Wisdom, Understanding, Power & Protecting Qualities of women i care for - more or less, either way.

i think church is too complacent, exclusively proud, disgusting & decadent when relying on numbers advantage, too lazy - perhaps this act will inspire them to fight evil with compassion, to awaken compassion in evil beings as i try to do, as well.

But the most important Lilith is this girl that was invested powers of Hells & Buddhism in.

i do not wish to call too many evil beings into this world in this life, prefer to focus on responsibly supporting & protecting them - perhaps with written praises & guidance wishes.

i do not feel better than this Young Witch Queen, she's Holiness in my eyes, at least.

i should care for her being True Star of Witchery, but alone i will fail.

i need Witchraft's support, wisdom, cooperation & numbers to succeed.

i need protecting powers, loving eyes, determination, patience, time, wisdom, artful speech, respect for independence & other of her, courage, fearlessness, power & strength at least.

... had insights that by serving Lilith that way, Lucifer's Protecting Qualities & Wisdom will awaken in me, as they did already a little, at least.

But she's no more important than a Buddhist woman i Love, than my future family - so i will occasionally fail anyway. That's why i should not to support & protect her alone.

i think Black Dakini of Wisdom, Black Tara & Mahakala will awaken in women & men, a little more as well that way.

Threat of Artificial Intelligence?

Introduction.

Writing AI, programmers prepare it to 'learn' & extrapolate.

One of main uses for AI is handling really big input data, learn how to make decisions based on it and then to 'make these decisions'.

Really good AI can handle it's tasks much better than humans, but so far can't think as humans.

It's not perfect however, as there can be software design errors and/or software implementation errors. It could learn wrongly from incomplete, erroneous or misleading data, or make wrong decision based on incomplete or wrongly designed learning process.

By the time AI is completed, reality might change and learning process design might be wrong already, as well.

Autonomous cars driven by AI are already done, these learned from humans driving & making decisions. So far there were no major accidents, or at least i didn't hear nor seen nor read about such.


'Weak AI' and 'Strong AI'.

There's difference between 'weak ai' and 'strong ai'.

'Weak Artificial Intelligence' can be described as:
- System that 'thinks' rationally to do it's task,
- System that 'behaves' rationally to do it's task.

'Strong Artificial Intelligence' can be described as:
- System that 'thinks' as a human,
- System that 'behaves' as a human.

Scientists of the 'Strong AI' field have ambitious & far-reaching goal of constructing artificial systems with a near-human or human-exceeding intellect.

i read in an article in the Internet, that the goal of the 'Strong AI' construction will be achieved in about three decades, but can't confirm or deny this hypothesis, as of yet.

Threat?

Once it learns, AI makes decisions very well.

While programmers can understand how learning works, from simple steps to how they are joined - they can't understand & handle immensely big amount of information that represents what AI did learn, it's complexity is too much for humans to analyze, learn & understand.

Programmers don't know how AI makes it's decisions, but they know about learning processess it used.

Is humanity on a brink of extinction?

i think main danger is living in decadence & ignorance, while letting AI to rule nations & wage wars.

i read AI has uses in cybernetic-warfare with robotic drones, that it's very efficient at that.

There are projects (by Google for example) that will attempt to install 'stop constraints' in AI, denying it certain decisions as programmers designed.

So ... is there a danger?

i don't know, but potentially there is.

i dedicated my Book of Shadows & it's contents for the Art of Magick & Light.

For me, Art is more important than Power.

i wish to use only Art-Spells, which limits my options but in long run should prove advantage.

Art gives spells more meaning, it makes it simpler, more concise & terse as well.

For now i have only a Dedication, the Wiccan Rede & a Protection/Bless spell inside.

These things i can share, what will be more inside should remain hidden.

Protection spell uses four elements & spirit, as a Pentacle does; Therefore, in a terser form i'll just say that my Book of Shadows is protected by a Pentacle.

Witches, are they crystal clear?

Introduction.

i love witches - as a whole with their families & cat familiars, as well - but no more than a Buddhist woman that i fight for.

i read a little about their past, this gave me more knowledge about their low & practical, wicked & independent feminine nature.


Thoughts & Myths.

i read that witches in past were persecuted, feared & hated by many - by others loved, feared & admired.

i think they were independent women who dared to have their own opinion, who (often secretly) challenged church & rulers.

they were wise, knew how to heal or secretly poison people, how to deliver kids or stop births; their wisdom often made them rich, for people came to them when they were in needs.

their initiation meetings, Sabbats, were mostly wicked, hedonistic, erotic, narcotic, psyched, blasphemous and often crime-inducing.

i think that in rare, in most the depraved cases, these were as vile & disgusting as church portrayed them.

'What is Magick?

Laws of Magick.

1. The law of importance of human willpower.

Human willpower is not some abstract idea, but a real force that is capable of being trained. A trained human will is capable of causing change and producing physical effect.


2. The law of the astral light.

The astral light is an invisible spiritual substance that penetrates everything in the universe. The astral light can be used by magicians to cause change at any distance in space.


3. The law of correspondence.

This law, based on older medieval theories concerning the 'magical virtues' of different substances, states that everything in the Greater Universe has corresponding part in the Lesser Universe.

Man, the Microcosm, is smaller reflection and extension of the Greater Universe, the Macrocosm.

To effect a change in one is to effect a change in other.

According to Levi's view, it was man's soul, more so than his body, which was believed to be the 'magical mirror of the universe.'

The universe we live in is not a mixture of chance factors and events, but ordered system of correspondences. The idea that there is a clear connection and relationship between greater (macro) universe and the lesser (micro) human universe is one of the basic principles of magic.

The Law of Correspondence includes the idea that certain objects, symbols, or substances are connected to different energies - through vibration, color, or character. These associations are usually planetary, zodiacal, or elemental, but they can also include the characteristics of plants, stones, metals, deities, etc.

By using certain substances, such as metals, gemstones, colors, herbs, and incenses, the magician is choosing things that will help him concentrate and focus his willpower. By understanding the pattern of these correspondences as they relate to the soul, 'the magical mirror of the universe,' the magician is able to use them to affect change, for good or for ill. This is possible because the forces that the magician seeks to affect are inside him as well as outside him. They are the magician's own essential impulses magnified out into the cosmos.

The conduit that exists between the magician's internal impulses and the cosmic forces that exist out in the greater universe is the faculty of imagination, which can be considered the most powerful tool of magic.


4. Law that human willpower must be combined with human imagination.


How It Works?

The steps of magickal process can be more easily understood if we order them as follows:

1. Intent. The magician must have a clear goal in mind.
2. Correspondence. The magician must choose which symbols, tools, and correspondences will best suit his or her needs.
3. Image. An image of the goal of the working is created and visualized in the astral light and built up through the faculty of imagination.
4. Willpower. The magician directs and focuses the force of will, like a laser, upon the desired end. This energizes the astral image so that its effects are felt on a personal, psychic or physical level.

This is the method used in all magickal workings.'

... Character's Life, is it worth ?

a short trip with Frances to Kuo-Toa cave, lost one cure moderate wounds potion, as well as one cure light wounds potion.

game-coin-wise probably was slightly not worth, but i had my own real life reasons for going there again.

... Nanotech, is it worth ?

'Nanotechnologies' book,
... it's the Modern Technology,

translated to Polish Language.


'Nanotechnology' is a very difficult discipline of the Science, because it requires a lot of learning & a lot of caution & care.

it's at minimum a Lot of Physics (Quantum, probably other as well ... this requires Mathematics as well ... at least catching up with Integrals & Differential Calculus that i am not proficient with in this moment in life), Chemistry & Biology ...

to coordinate NEMS nanite clouds it's also significiant amount of Computer Sciences, Object Oriented Programming for Large Number of Objects Coordination, Software Optimization Methods & Software Concurrency.

i think this can be done in my lifetime, but requires serious involvement, not neccessarily in this moment.

i think it's still worth to consider if to invest my time in NEMS nanotech, because it's powerful protection & other benefits as well (Quantum Computing & Cryptography among these).

knowledge of Strategy & Tactics also helps with Security, but i can write almost-complete code with extension points & let people fill gaps with strategies & tactics.

i think that Microtechnology-related Laws of Physics are more similar to Laws of Classical Physics than Nanotechnology-related Laws of Physics, but i am not very knowledgeable in that as of yet.

i bought 'Tarot Cards' for first time, read Aleister Crowley's books, if i remember well.

there was more, with 'Lukas' & 'Traszka', Psychology & Islam related & more of their colleagues still ... including 'Smoku', a student or graduate of Esoteric School, more or less.

then i played Narfell Computer Game World & met Nerialka, she mentioned she uses Tarot as well.

at Narfell, i've played a role of Attentus, a Sorcerer, known in that world well, i think ...

Magic, Magick, Why ?

i think it's strange, hard to understand methodology for enforcing changes in reality.

plans are hard to understand by enemies, competition won't react efficiently if they won't perceive moves properly.

there are 'allied forces' that join & support many ways, as one develops in Magickal Arts, part of Magickal Way is using them efficiently.

there are 'enemy forces' to be outsmarted, before they kill or harm, or step in the way.

there are 'forces of paradox', 'reality resisting changes - often in an unaware, but still significiant way'.

subtler reality changes cause less of resistance, this is mentioned in 'Mage: The Ascension', a book.

there's lot more about that methodology in Arts, the 'subtler art', the better.

'Magic' differs from 'Magick' by 'k', perhaps it's just a 'kinetic' aspect of the way - kicks, bullets, male unsubtleties perhaps ... perhaps they still hide subtler truth somehow.

'stage magicians' often cover small meaningful moves with Larger, Drawing Attention of audience to them.

'Aspect' is 'side, part of'.

using Magic or Magick to achieve something is often associated with extra expenses, extra planning, extra tricks.

but these costs are often well worth, as competition can't react properly if we succeed in outsmarting them - this cuts the more significiant costs of fighting opposition directly, in an open way.

Many Truths, which is True ?

There are many truths.

Every truth is important, more or less.

Truth is what joins, not separates.

Many of them... i try to be True according to priorities of Enlightened Love.
