Mindful Loving vs. Emotional Intelligence.

Introduction.

Which is better - Mindfulness & Mindful Loving, or Emotional Intelligence?

Do these have different purposes, or maybe these complement each other?

Or maybe both?

Development.

I've decided to learn both Mindful Loving, as well as Emotional Intelligence.

Being a Buddhist, Mindfulness practice seems more important - so i'll learn it sooner and probably will progress more into it, than into Emotional Intelligence.

... but then, 'Intelligence is Sexy' too.

Books & Dedication.

There are books I need to read, but parts of my Mind oppose this.

Today, however ... thoughts appeared in my Mind, I had conversation with friends in my Mind.

Skipping details, it was that a good friend of mine (Hannah Ł.) will help me to overcome obstacles, so i can read these books / whole books, not only parts - this time /.

In return, I will dedicate part of 'good karma' gained from reading these books to her - i will offer for her some spiritual aspects, aspects of Protector friends, that can appear somewhere in holy paints that represent her & her friends.

On holy paintings, these aspects would take forms of Black Coat and Red Flames that surround.

Other Protector's aspects should also appear as time passess, but i am not ready to offer these to her ... yet.

Rest of 'good karma' gained from reading these books will be dedicated to Lama Ole Nydahl, to other friends, to myself, and to a Buddhist woman i Love.

Black Coat.

'Black Coat', also named: 'Mahakala' is Buddhist Protector.

On holy paintings, central figures do not wear black coat, but Protector is sometimes included somewhere around central figure.

Red flames (representing emotions as love or wrath) appear around Mahakala, and around other Protectors.

Here's how Mahakala looks like (on holy paintings):

Artificial Intelligence & Telepathy.

When we consider thinking, we usually equalize many concepts.

There can be:
- Thinking of beings,
- Artificial thinking,
- Abstract thinking.

Thinking beings can be living or dead (during bardo, before reincarnation).

Artificial thinking refers to decision making processes of computers, including artificial intelligence learning & decision making. Computers do not think, these calculate with side effects. Computers do not have Mind.

Abstract thinking is generalization of thinking of beings and artificial thinking, but artificial thinking is not the same as thinking of beings. Precisely speaking - artificial thinking is not thinking, but computation - calculation with side effects.

Can artificial thinking induce telepathy?

i think yes - because telepathic beings can be aware of artificial intelligence's learning/decisions - for example if they read it on a monitor screen; then they initiate their own telepathy.

But without telepathic beings, artificial intelligence would not have telepathic abilities, i think.

There are also things to consider as:
- media presence, especially in the internet that can be affected by ai; memes,
- subliminal messages; 'the subtler Art, the better',
- cellphone messages,
- Integrated Information Theory & Panpsychism.

Threat of Artificial Intelligence?

Introduction.

Writing AI, programmers prepare it to 'learn' & extrapolate.

One of main uses for AI is handling really big input data, learn how to make decisions based on it and then to 'make these decisions'.

Really good AI can handle it's tasks much better than humans, but so far can't think as humans.

It's not perfect however, as there can be software design errors and/or software implementation errors. It could learn wrongly from incomplete, erroneous or misleading data, or make wrong decision based on incomplete or wrongly designed learning process.

By the time AI is completed, reality might change and learning process design might be wrong already, as well.

Autonomous cars driven by AI are already done, these learned from humans driving & making decisions. So far there were no major accidents, or at least i didn't hear nor seen nor read about such.

'Weak AI' and 'Strong AI'.

There's difference between 'weak ai' and 'strong ai'.

'Weak Artificial Intelligence' can be described as:
- System that 'thinks' rationally to do it's task,
- System that 'behaves' rationally to do it's task.

'Strong Artificial Intelligence' can be described as:
- System that 'thinks' as a human,
- System that 'behaves' as a human.

Scientists of the 'Strong AI' field have ambitious & far-reaching goal of constructing artificial systems with a near-human or human-exceeding intellect.

i read in an article in the Internet, that the goal of the 'Strong AI' construction will be achieved in about three decades, but can't confirm or deny this hypothesis, as of yet.

For more, see also, if You wish: 'Weak' & 'Strong' Artificial Intelligence.

Threat?

Once it learns, AI makes decisions very well.

While programmers can understand how learning works, from simple steps to how they are joined - they can't understand & handle immensely big amount of information that represents what AI did learn, it's complexity is too much for humans to analyze, learn & understand.

Programmers don't know how AI makes it's decisions, but they know about learning processess it used.

Is humanity on a brink of extinction?

i think main danger is living in decadence & ignorance, while letting AI to rule nations & wage wars.

i read AI has uses in cybernetic-warfare with robotic drones, that it's very efficient at that.

There are projects (by Google for example) that will attempt to install 'stop constraints' in AI, denying it certain decisions as programmers designed.

So ... is there a danger?

i don't know, but potentially there is.

Ancient China's Intelligence Methods against Al-Qaida.

'... even in ancient times China had developed and documented an understanding of intelligence needs & practices for military and diplomatic activities. At that time, information requirements were relatively simple: enemy unit size, weaponry, location, and morale; bibliographical information on enemy commanders; terrain features; and the intentions of neutral and allied forces. In addition, the Tso-Chuan* describes intelligence operations employed not only to collect information but also to deceive the opposition and deny them militarily significiant information...'

* Tso-Chuan: 'Tradition of Tso', one of ancient Chinese battle narratives of the Eastern Chou period (ca. 770-403 B.C.).

-- Quoted, with small edit, from 'Chinese Intelligence Operations' by Nicholas Eftimiades.

How can an independent person with access to the Internet & books use that information to help to protect people against Al-Qaida?
- by preparing a short documents about certain people / roles in Al-Qaida's structure, with quotes & referenced sources,
- perhaps more.

Chinese Intelligence Methods.

Why Intelligence Chinese Methods?
- because i consider them perhaps most advanced Intelligence Methods in the World,
- also because i've read Sun Tzu's 'Art of War' as well, even if briefly, when i've studied at 'College'.

Who is target?
- i'll use these methods to attack Terrorism of any Nation, when i must.

Beginning of the Book:
Confucius, the moralist and teacher of unsurpassed influence in China for millenia, said:
"Confronting a foreign invasion, one should resort to deception, which may suffice in repelling the enemy."

Important Quotes, Respectively:
- 'no one in the armed forces is treated as familiarly as spies and no one is given rewards as rich as those given to spies.'.

About book's Author:
- academic background as a sinologist,
- professional training as an intelligence officer.

Some abbreviations (not precisely copied, for more: buy the book):
- Sun Tzu Bing Fa: military manual (Sun Tzu's Art of War),
- INTELLIGENCE: raw information that has been compiled & analyzed,
- HUMINT: human-source intelligence,
- IMINT: imagery intelligence, derived from collection & analysis of photographs & images,
- SIGINT: signals intelligence, gathered from collection & analysis of communication & sensors.
