Low Magick: Meditate, Ponder & Display the Power.

Anything can be used in real magick, even toys as the M:tG cards.


Today I was admiring M:tG related Arts, and considered using the three of M:tG cards, creatively.

These cards are:


Using them creatively, where it leads?

One can meditate, ponder then perform a display of power.

Perhaps I should do this, to help my Witchy friends & my Buddhist friends.

This should lead to Magickal Awakening & Manifestation, and to the Enlightenment.


... How?

Perhaps i can meditate and ponder on that ... hopefully will get answers, answers to the 'How?' question.


I've bought these cards too, should arrive in about 2-4 weeks since today.

Mindful Loving vs. Emotional Intelligence.

Introduction.

Which is better - Mindfulness & Mindful Loving, or Emotional Intelligence?

Do these have different purposes, or maybe these complement each other?

Or maybe both?


Development.

I've decided to learn both Mindful Loving, as well as Emotional Intelligence.

Being a Buddhist, Mindfulness practice seems more important - so i'll learn it sooner and probably will progress more into it, than into Emotional Intelligence.

... but then, 'Intelligence is Sexy' too.


Books & Dedication.

There are books I need to read, but parts of my Mind oppose this.

Today, however ... thoughts appeared in my Mind, I had conversation with friends in my Mind.

Skipping details, it was that a good friend of mine (Hannah Ł.) will help me to overcome obstacles, so i can read these books / whole books, not only parts - this time /.

In return, I will dedicate part of 'good karma' gained from reading these books to her - i will offer for her some spiritual aspects, aspects of Protector friends, that can appear somewhere in holy paints that represent her & her friends.

On holy paintings, these aspects would take forms of Black Coat and Red Flames that surround.

Other Protector's aspects should also appear as time passess, but i am not ready to offer these to her ... yet.

Rest of 'good karma' gained from reading these books will be dedicated to Lama Ole Nydahl, to other friends, to myself, and to a Buddhist woman i Love.





Black Coat.

'Black Coat', also named: 'Mahakala' is Buddhist Protector.

On holy paintings, central figures do not wear black coat, but Protector is sometimes included somewhere around central figure.

Red flames (representing emotions as love or wrath) appear around Mahakala, and around other Protectors.

Angels, Demons & Exorcisms.

This is my opinion, feel free to disregard.

I think that Angel and Demon are two faces of the same being.

When one is a friend, the said being assumes Angel face - protects, helps, etc...
When one is enemy, the said being assumes Demonic face that tempts, does harm, etc...

What about exorcisms?

I think that when one is exorcised, the haunting demons and helpful angels are replaced by angels/demons that hold sway over the exorcist.

In a way, exorcism can be viewed not as purging evil haunting someone, but as 'stealing control' over someone - after unpleasant, nervous struggle between angels and demons within exorcised someone's psyche.

This inner struggle might last for short, long or sometimes for the very long time.

/ word 'Psyche' means: 'Mind-Soul' /.

Oh, so Wonderful World …

This article is about abuses of supernatural powers. The title is a short form of a phrase:

'Oh, so Wonderful World ... Miracles happen, but beings suffer'.
/ pl: 'Jest przecudnie ... Cuda się zdarzają, a istoty cierpią'. /


It's not only about targetting someone with harmful power, but also about of how it is done.

I've experienced this in my mind. Thoughts appeared that someone prayed to his/her god, so unbelievers make miracle for his/her wealth. At their own costs, time, money, effort, risk, etc.

I did have a short talk with the praying one in my mind ... he/she didn't consider coming to agreement nor rewarding me, argumenting that he/she is entitled for using unbelievers because he/she keeps going to the church often.

Is it fair?

... I think not.

This was only example, it happens in any of religions, or so I think at least.

Every religion has better and worse people.

... Is Buddhism religion?

While by Buddha Karmapa 17th (Trinley Thaye Dorje) words: 'Buddhism is not religion, it's like science', we still have religious lessons, or so I think.

Did I have to obey? Faith and prayers have great power, and I was weak still. I felt forced to do my practices, to do wishes and magick, to make this 'miracle' happen.

... How Rude. :(

By my experience, the prayers for magick happen most often before Christmas, but also before Easter. Before Easter, people seem gentler and nicer, however. Maybe being unnice before and during Easter has more of unwanted consequences.

About witch-hunting and about the 'Burning Times'.

I've watched a film in the internet, where this topic (of burning times, of witch-hunts) was explored.

Perhaps many would disagree, but not all of killed people were witches, yet they were called such during the trials.

Conclusion of this film was that term 'Witch' was used to accuse individuals unwelcomed by land-rulers.


'So... this guy is problematic and needs to be killed. We have no law reason to do so? Let's just call him/her a Witch'.


While there were people who truly hated witchcraft, many were tolerant... as the wise women were good at herbalism and at healing common peasants. Landowners tended to ignore them, as they were useful - not only because peasant morale-raising practices.

During the 'Burning Times', real Witches were a minority among people accused of Witchcraft and killed because of that reason.


Also, i think that term: 'Witch' was used in Sectarian Wars, between Catholics, Protestants and Lutherans, probably Calvinists as well.

(by definition, Sect is movement of religious protest).

Magick, Fear & Litany against Fear (from Frank Herbert's 'Dune').

About.

When one practices Magick, fear is abundant at times. Magicians boldly face the fear of unknown, some of them turn insane as well (not only because of fear).


What about Litany, then?

Source is from Frank Herbert's 'Dune' book, but i think it's more than fiction ... these words make sense, and i think these can work well in real life, against real fears.

This litany can be recited when one faces fear, to help one to face the fear with bravery, to help one develop fearlessness.


This litany helped me about 10-12 years ago, when i went through psychological crisis.


English.

Litany against fear.

'I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

Super Moon & Telepathy Mind Magick.

Tonight is Super Moon & Full Moon - right time to seed black magick practices, or to complete light magick practices.

Super Moon is when moon is close to earth, affecting gravity, tides, emotions ... stronger than usual moon.

Light Full Moon is Dark New Moon, Dark Full Moon is Light New Moon.

When moon is new, it's time to seed;
When moon is full, it's time to complete & get results.

Today i've had insights (thoughts appearing in my mind), that i've following mind powers & practices:
- Telepathy (Communication, Attack, Defense, Seeding Thoughts - Gentle Suggestion, Suggestion, Domination - Strong Suggestion, Surface Thoughts Scan, Deep Memory Scan, Create Memories, Delete Memories, Modify Memories),
- Psychometabolism (Controlling how fast/slow my metabolism is),
- Telekinesis,
- Cryokinesis.

Insights, thoughts appearing in my mind, said that Sangha (Buddhist Community) built these powers for me ... so when i want to use, and have Lama Ole Nydahl's permission, these should work.

As a Buddhist, having these powers is relatively easy. Hardest part is getting permission to use these, without it the powers won't work.

I am to keep these practices for future generations, to teach young ... and if i need - can use it, providing it's responsible use.


Today i've used Seeding Thoughts Power on a disgrace among Buddhist Martial Arts Teachers, on an old, fat, immoral guy nicknamed Yoda. Thoughts i've seeded was to piss off, to stay away from me and from my mind. Insights, thoughts appearing in mind, said to me that i have permission on that use. :)


This power's use is doing something that Yoda doesn't want, so it's black magick & black telepathy. Supermoon Full Moon is a right time for seeding that practice.

Why so weark power to use? (why not suggestion or domination?) - weakest start means strongest end in a long run. Weak power is also less strain on spell target's sanity, which means gentler karmic return (spells cause karma to return, so spellcaster suffers from karma he/she seeded as well)... and it's easier to get permission to use gentler power as well.

With Seed Thoughts telepathic mind magick spell, thoughts appear in target's mind, then target rationalizes why he/she should obey seeded thoughts. In case of suggestion and domination, there's more of violent thoughts in target's mind.

... i've made a wish to recast, to copy earlier spellcasting, so the spellcast happened when moon's age was just after 50%, instead of only just before.

Insights, thoughts appearing in my mind, told me that i have permission for this use as well.

Insights, thoughts appearing in my mind, told me that a powerful, wise & beautiful female friend of mine (Karolina B.), that she set a white candle alight for me - to fulfill my wish. Once again, working in a team helped me to correct earlier mistake.

Low Magick: Storm Control.

About.

Anything can be used in real magick, even toys. Here's an example:

Used creatively it can help to cast Weather Controlling Magick, for example to prevent storms from growing too big.

In M:tG, each spell cast in the same turn 'builds storm'. One winning startegy in M:tG is to build insanely powerful storm by casting mana (magical energy) giving spells and card drawing spells, then killing opponent with one spell that draws its power from storm that was built on the same turn.

Damping Sphere increases costs of spells if these are cast in the same turn, so cost of building storms is too high for this strategy to be succesful.

... i belive it works, because i do spellwork/mantras in a team, and certain Spiritual Authorities correct my mistakes.

Spells, Mantras, Beliefs ... Supernatural Powers, Psychology, Faith Manipulation & Placebo Effect.

Society's effect on ego & belief.

Symbols & archetypes exist in collective psyches of various cultures.

In Tibet, for example, people still believe that Loving Eyes Mantra: 'OM MANI PEME HUNG' helps to develop Compassion, to act Compassionately.

One's Superego is influenced by Collective Unconscious of culture in which one was born, and in which one develops. If one migrates to different nation - it's especially true, i think.

One can shortly explain Superego as Society's ethical/spiritual/religious pressures affecting people.

So... many people believe that mantras work, that mantras work in certain ways. This can be similar to belief in magick (casting spells, lighting a candle, etc) and to belief in prayers of various religions.

Even if one's Ego reejects ideas of mantras, spells & prayers working in certain ways, one's Superego still believes that these work properly.

One should not underestimate power of belief, i think.


Power of Faith, Placebo Effect.

When one believes in working of spiritual practices - for example: saying a mantra, lighting a candle or incense - one's mind and body reacts ... as if Placebo Effect occured.

This is true in case of healing magick and/or similar practices, but can be abstracted beyond that as well.

In Buddhism, we believe that we are Mind and have Bodies - so affecting Mind, affecting Belief - can change the World.

Many people - including this blog's author - believe that spells, wishes, mantras, prayers and similar practices can affect Mind. For example, lighting a protection incense stick can make one feel safer, more secure.


Manipulating one's own faith.

One can actively pray or wish to believe in working of spiritual practices, to have Placebo Effect happen.

One should, however, be wary of abusing this method ... i think that one should be honest, especially honest to/about himself/herself.

Deceiving oneself to believe in strange things is stupid - and while it might work for a while - it is quick way to psychiatric hospital.


Manipulating others' faith(s).

It can be done, it is possible - but is it ethical?

How much is too much?

I am doing this quite often, for example by writing on this blog. ;)

I want to be honest and fair, that's why i write about this here.

Also, i want to warn of such practices - many people manipulate faith, not only me.

Those who do not want to be faith-manipulated can take steps to protect themselves or others, once they are aware.

How?

For example - by praying to their deity(-ies), asking for protection from faith-manipulation.


Final Words.

In a polish language, honest and fair means: 'szczery i uczciwy'. Justice / pl: 'sprawiedliwość' / is not same as fairness.

... i think that fairness is like fair-play, and a little as in fairy tales.

... i think that justice is harder, more about law & court - 'eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth', and that fairness is gentler, more informal.
