'The Little Book of Curses & Maledictions For Everyday Use.'
By Dawn Rae Downton.
Motivation.
Witchcraft/Wicca is important part of this blog author's way.
One of the things that Witches are famous about is Cursing.
This blog's author bought this a book for:
- Understanding the nature of Curses & Witchcraft better,
- To learn how to Protect from Curses, including Protecting from Islamic Fatwa Curses,
- To learn how to Protect using Curses
from the Bodhisattva Level - both me, Sangha, my future family, our friends & allies,
- To transform, to turn the Black Magick into the White & Light,
According to Buddhism, after Cursing that energy returns someday, it's causing bad karma to appear in life,
According to Wicca's, everything done with magick returns to a caster three-fold, it can be painful.
i wish to use this knowledge responsibly, to not cast Curses too eagerly - only when neccessary, either for me or others.
While i'm intending to protect from any Enemy, there are three groups that are possible subjects of the curses:
- Nihilists,
- Modern Inquisition,
- Terrorists - including, but not only Islamic Terrorists.
The four basic types of Curses.
1. The Revenge Curse.
'When you've been stabbed in the back, nothing else will do. But remember: Betrayals are, unfortunately, pretty common, so pick your battles. Not everything calss for a curse. Know when to walk away'.
2. The Warning Curse.
'Use it to ward off a betrayal coming down the line'.
3. The Binding Curse.
'Also known as the neutralizing curse, it ends stalemates, wears down enemies, gets you noticed, and gets your calls returned. Wherever you can, choose a binding curse instead of a revenge curse. In the black art of malediction, less is usually more. Binding spells are gentler and more idiot-proof than revenge curses, and will leave you feeling better in the morning.'
4. The Repudiation Curse.
'It guards you from organized malice. Use it against institutions that mislead or hurt people.'
Other:
There are also self-curses for breaking a bad habits & purification, there are blessings in this book as well.
Blog author's comments:
- i am not a fan of an Anger & Revenge, i'll try to stay away from revenge curses as much as i can ... preferring for offender's karma to do the work by itself; i think thet Anger & Revenges are Allah's domain afterall, but it's also Lama Ole Nydahl's words that 'revenge is a dish best served cold',
- it's also advised to make sure that a target is guilty before casting a curse, to do a self-examination to see if your cause is just, karmically & ethically sound, as well as to exhaust other options before cursing,
- it's also advised that when in doubt use a warning curse - in case of someone not being guilty it will just 'glance off him' not hitting you back as well.
More About.
i've found a few of Curses in this book that might be pariticularly useful in a future:
- 'The Spotted Hag' (a Blessing, Hindu Prayer Charm that Protects persons, animals, homes, possessions, health; to avert evil spirits of misfortune and to ensure prosperity; a way to escape curses as well - when one suspects being cursed),
- 'The Imbiber' (a Self-Curse for breaking bad habits),
- 'Meetings' (a Binding Curse for wasted time at work),
- 'The Silencer' (a Binding Curse against slander),
- 'The Roundtable' (a Binding Curse against blackmails),
- 'The Eastwood' (a Warning Curse against Rude - not only with Speech),
- 'Stardust' (a Revenge Curse for when one is losing),
- 'The Letter' (a Revenge Curse against being framed),
- 'The Promise Keeper' (a Revenge Curse against those who don't keep promises, to make sure they keep promise).
i preferred to stay away from work & money spells because i prefer to earn money fairly, using only white magick to gain contractors but not to steal money. i won't take revenge if / when fired from work as well.
i preferred to stay away from love spells & curses because:
- i do not wish to enforce love against someone's will, i prefer maturity & honesty with love instead of manipulations & childish plays with loved one's feelings,
- i do not wish to break up couples, for when that energy returns my love will be endangered as well.
What's else in this book?
There are 16 advices for casting curses, a chapter about famous curses & their effects, chapters with Curses - including Curses not listed here, a chapter about 'Perfecting Technique', as well as a 'Curses FAQ' part.
Will i 'tell' ?
i'll try not to, because 'Cursing is a lonely work', it's best to not reveal that one is casting a Curse, especially to the cursed one.
Will i Protect others?
Certainly, especially if i consider them important & beneficial; others perhaps as well.
But let's understand that preparations for casting are costly & time consuming in most cases.
