Black Tara.

Black Tārā, associated with power.

Black Tara represents the enlightened activity of wrath, which involves using forceful methods for accomplishing activities for enlightened purposes that cannot be accomplished through other means.

Black Tara is a wrathful manifestation, identical in form and, no doubt, source, to Hindu Kali and is associated with power. Like Kali, She has a headdress of grinning skulls, like Kali, she is black, like Kali She has three eyes. Like many Tibetan deities in the wrathful aspect, She has the fangs of a tiger, symbolizing ferocity, a ferocious appetite to devour the demons of the mind. Her aura or halo is fiery, energetic, full of smoke symbolizing the transformation of fire.

The Black Tara has been compared to the perfect guardian of the void, the Divine Mother of compassion and a firm Goddess to ward off any forms of evil.

Dakini & Tara.

Dakini is personification of Female Buddha Qualities.

Tara is Female Bodhisattva, Liberator - but if we see her as Buddha, we'll receive blessings as from Buddha as well.

Buddhas & Bodhisattvas.

There are both male & female Buddhas & Bodhisattvas.

Buddhas are Enlightened beings, Wise & Compassionate ... with many Precious Qualities.

Bodhisattvas are beings on the way to Buddhahood yet, for good of all beings.

There are many Buddhas & Bodhisattvas, but in my practice most important are:

1. Mahakala Buddha, Protector,
2. Kurukulle, Female Buddha, Red Dakini of Enlightened Love,
3. Medicine Buddha,
4. Amitabha, Limitless Light Buddha,
5. Loving Eyes, Compassion Buddha,
6. Bodhidharma, Buddha who taught Martial Arts at Shaolin Monastery,
7. Vairocana, Wisdom Buddha,
8. Green Tara, Female Buddha, Liberator, associated with Enlightening Activity,
9. Black Tara, Female Buddha, Liberator & Protector, associated with Power - including Magickal,
10. Dorje Sempa, Diamond Mind Buddha,
11. Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche Buddha),
12. Palden Lhamo (Radiant Godess Buddha, Mahakala's Consort).
13. Milarepa Buddha (Great Sorcerer & Hero who was Tortured on his way to Buddhahood),
14. Marpa Buddha,
15. Manjushri Bodhisattva of Wisdom.

i heard during a Buddhist Course, that if one sees someone as Buddha - one receives blessings as from Buddha.

Dorje & Bell.

Tibetan Dorje.

Buddhists and Hindus, as well as many sects, believe that we live our lives in a dream. Instead of characters in a movie, we ourselves are the actors in the drama that is our everyday reality.

Many esoteric 'faiths', especially Buddhism, attempt to wake us from this dream and remind us who we really are. They aim to show us the real context of all that is 'out there' in the external world so that we can, once again, regain our true identity as the observer. The awakening from this dream is called 'enlightenment.'

Symbolically a dorje represents the 'thunderbolt of enlightenment,' that abrupt change in human consciousness which is recognised by all the 'great religions' as a pivotal episode in the lives of mystics and saints. Once 'enlightened,' the observer can detach from the personal importance of money, romance, food and even life itself. Happiness then comes from inside -- not outside -- of the observer who recognizes that he (or she) is part of the Creation.

The Bell and Dorje, or thunderbolt, are inseparable ritual objects in Tibetan Buddhism. They are always used in combination during ceremonies.

The Bell held in the left hand, representing the female aspect as wisdom; the Dorje, or male held in the right hand, aspect as method. Together, they represent union of wisdom and method, or the attainment of 'enlightenment.'

For Buddhists, it is what occurred to the historical Buddha and to all those who experience kensho-satori, the dropping away of 'self'.

A dorje, then is like the diamond, but that gem is an inadequate symbol for it. However, just as any other substance will be destroyed on impact with a diamond, so the ritual object symbolizes that which is indestructible, enduring, powerful, invincible, and irresistible. Like a diamond, all inferior truth and beliefs will be shattered when confronted with the ultimate truth that we are the 'observer', and that everything else is just illusion.

--
... after reading about Dorje, i understood Buddhism a little better, in shorter, simpler words.

Our egos are what separate us from others, we are connected with minds, sharing thoughts & feelings. Our bodies are nonpermanent, false illusions, only Mind is lasting ... even through death.

Enlightened Mind can choose to be reincarnated, reborn in the best conditions for Everyone.

i'll find woman i love eventually, even if this involves dying first. i understood that the fastest way of finding her is focusing on reaching Enlightenment ... that way the distance between us will be reduced to nothing & understanding of each other will be complete. i read that the worst distance between two beings is misunderstanding, after all - these are very wise words i understand now.

is there only one Mind or many Minds? i think it's artificial concept, with egos shattered barriers are reduced to zero. from unenlightened perspective however, minds are separate - even if a part of one universal, greater Mind.
